How to improve your memory

Over the years, our brain goes to some changes. Some of them will increase the time needed to learn new things. But don't fear, because I have some useful tips that will improve your memory!

1. Just like your muscles, your brain also needs workout. Try expanding your views, pick something you've never done before and be sure it's both challenging and fun. For instance, try learning a new language, instrument, or something simpler like a crossword puzzle. It's never too late!

2. Use maps, shopping lists and mind maps so you could use your brain in an economical way. You'll keep the important stuff inside.

 3. Make stuff simpler. You can remember things easily by dividing them in a few smaller things. For instance, you can split a telephone number in a couple of smaller groups. Think about it.

4. Use all of your senses. If you're using them when you find stuff out, it'll be easier for you to remember.

5. Associate the things you learn with visual images. Images are easier to remember then long sentences.

6. Try reading out loud when you're studying. You will pay more attention by doing that, but it will take a bit longer.

7. If you're  in school, pay attention. It may seem stupid, but you will remember things easier by actually listening to someone explaining something.

8. Rehearse what you've learned. Use a portion of your time to repeat what you've already learned and you will see that it's better then learning at the last minute.

So, if you follow this steps, you'll improve your memory in no-time! I hope I've helped and if you have any questions, feel free to post them in the comments!
